Just searching around, it is very gratifying to see that my up coming book of Connecticut River photos has risen to #10 in the Amazon ranking for that category on pre-sales. The title, The Connecticut River, a Photographic Journey into the Heart of New England, will be published by Weselyan University Press in September 2009 and will be available on Amazon.com and many other online booksellers. Its 160 pages includes 136 color photos of the Connecticut River from the Fourth Lake at the Canadian border with New Hampshire down to the mouth at Old Saybrook and Old Lyme, Connecticut where the river empties into Long Island Sound. It includes an afterword by Chelsea Reiff Gwyther, director of the Connecticut River Watershed Council on important conservation issues on the river.
