Professional Scanning

Professional Film Scans with Imacon 646 scanner (negative, positive, color or B&W). Imacon’s virtual drum moves the film through the scanner in ideal alignment without glass carriers or oil emulsions. Your film is untouched and uncontaminated. For a demonstration of the Flextight concept, now owned by Hasselblad, see www.hasselblad.com/products/scanners/flextight-movie.aspx Scans are full optical resolution, not interpolated, and supplied as 16 bit RGB .tif files unless otherwise specified.

Maximum resolution is dependent on film width:
35mm film - up to 6300 ppi
2 ¼ film – up to 3200 ppi
4 x 5 film – up to 2040 ppi

Professional HP DesignJet Z3100 Wide Format Pigment Printing

My prints are made on a state of the art HP Designjet Z3100 12-color printer using HP Vivera pigment inks. The printer features a built-in spectrophotometer for ink level optimization and ICC profile calibration for each paper used. Large format prints include an approval proof to allow checking of color, density and composition of the image before printing. If corrections are required, an additional approval proof will be produced at the rates shown. Once the approval proof is signed off, the large format prints are made. My stock paper for fine arts printing is Hahnemuhle Smooth Fine Art Paper, 100% Cotton Rag.
